Two Brothers. One Dream — To Play on the PGA Tour.

The Park Bros — Road to PGA Tour Q School

Very few brothers ever have the opportunity to pursue the same dream of playing on the PGA Tour together. That’s the journey we’ve spent our entire lives working toward.

We’re Joey and Bobby Park — the Park Bros, two brothers chasing the same goal: earning a spot on the PGA Tour. This fall, we will both be competing in PGA Tour Q School, one of the most demanding and competitive paths in professional golf.

Our journey with golf started incredibly early. We began golfing when we were just one year old, growing up around the game and learning it from the very beginning. Our father, a golf teaching professional, introduced us to the game and coached us from the start. Later, we made the decision to turn professional early — at ages 15 and 17 — competing in State Opens and on the Dakotas Tour to gain valuable tournament experience and begin building our foundation as professional golfers.

We chose to forgo college opportunities and turn professional early so we could learn firsthand the realities of competing as professional golfers. When you're playing for money and cuts, the pressure is completely different from amateur golf. It becomes a true test of your ability, mindset, discipline, and commitment to the game.

Preparing for PGA Tour Q School comes with significant expenses, including entry fees, travel, lodging, practice rounds, and tournament preparation. Q School is played over four stages at different locations around the country, and advancing through each stage requires additional travel and costs.

To give a sense of the costs involved, entry fees for local professional tournaments are often around $1,450 per event. PGA Tour Q School itself costs roughly $6,000 in entry fees alone, not including travel, lodging, food, and practice rounds as players move from location to location around the country. Preparing properly also requires playing several tournaments leading up to Q School. The total cost for both Joey and Bobby to compete at Q School this year is approximately $39,800.

IMPORTANT TIMELINE — Q SCHOOL REGISTRATION OPENS IN JUNE

Registration for PGA Tour Q School opens in June, and spots fill quickly. Our goal is to register as early as possible when sign-ups begin to ensure we both secure our places in the field before registration fills. Early support allows us to be fully prepared and committed when registration opens.

The funds will help cover the costs for both of us to compete in all four stages of Q School across the country, along with travel, lodging, food, and several tournaments leading up to Q School for tournament preparation.

Our goal is to be fully registered when sign-ups open in June so we can focus entirely on preparation and performance.

Professional golf is one of the few sports where players must fund their own journey to compete, which is why support from friends, family, and the golf community can make such a meaningful difference.

We are currently working at Mirabel Golf Club in Scottsdale, a beautiful course with an incredible membership. Being part of that golf community and having the encouragement of so many people there has meant a lot to us as we continue working toward this goal.

Whether it’s a contribution or simply sharing this page, every bit of support helps us continue chasing our dream of playing on the PGA Tour.

Thank you for believing in us and being part of our journey.
