While on the way to Portland, OR to attend Rose City Comic Con, myself and three passengers were side swiped hard and our car was thrown across a lane and into a McDonald’s front foliage. Not only was the car badly damaged, but airbags deployed and injuries were sustained across the entire party - including Panda Scarlett (who fractured her right shoulder in the impact) and TheActorBat, who flew out to visit and collaborate at the con.

Currently, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to repair our car. While our insurance will cover our injuries, it’s equally unlikely they’ll be able to provide the entirety of the car cost, and the shop anticipates having the car for a minimum of two months even if repairs are possible due to lack of parts.

While we’re obviously just grateful everyone is okay, this is a huge blow not just to lose our car but a large chunk of our savings that had to be spent on rental cars, long distance Ubers, and pain management supplies. Any support is appreciated whether through here, video support, sharing, or merch purchase. Asking for help isn’t easy, but given how widespread this accident has rippled, any help is help we need.
