The Panama Project - A tribute to Eddie Van Halen
Hi, my name is Ken Young and I like to play guitar.
Eddie Van Halen was an inspiration to so many musicians, not just for his prowess on the guitar but for how much fun he obviously had whenever the instrument was in his hands. After his death, I wanted to do something to honour his memory. So, with my good friend Greg Christopher I've started a fundraiser and a applied for a world record attempt to publicise it. Eddie's favourite charity was Mr Holland's Opus Foundation.
So we're raising money to benefit The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that meant so much to Eddie.
More information about The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation: Founded in 1996, The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation keeps music alive in our schools by donating musical instruments to under-funded music programs, giving youngsters the many benefits of music education, helping them to be better students and inspiring creativity and expression through playing music.
