Welcome to the donation page for the Palestinian Empowerment Foundation!
Our team is composed of a group of students at University of Michigan Medical School who are dedicated to supporting and uplifting Palestinian students through the power of education. We are raising funds to help Palestinian students continue their higher education but are impeded in doing so due to tuition costs. We are focusing our efforts on helping students at Birzeit University, a local Palestinian University located in the West Bank in a town near Ramallah. The average yearly tuition at this institution is approximately 2500 USD.
For the donation process, a member of our team based in the U.S will withdraw the money, as GoFundMe is not available in Palestine, and transfer it directly the University through their website. The funds raised will be given to Palestinian students on a need-based criterion through the school’s financial aid office.
