Our brother Yoan's family is dealing with one of the hardest things a family can deal with. His wife Chrisina was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma (also called bile duct cancer). It is a rare and agressive form of cancer.

Cristina is getting treated for chemo through the VA Hospital.

Cristina is a 12 year Navy veteran and is currently serving as a Navy Reservist. She has 17 years of combined service.

Friends and family describe her as a hard worker and a fighter. A great leader and someone who is willing to help others in their time of need. Their family is requesting help to pay with every day expenses as now they have become a one income family household.

The notion of dealing with the diagnosis is hard enough. Adding to that the financial hardship that comes with losing one income in a home with two children is even worse.
