Dear Family, Friends, and Kind-hearted strangers,

Hello, my name is Kathy Fogg, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter and son-in-law, Kendal and Dakota Padgett, to help with the cost of having a child of their own through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).

After many years of wondering why they couldn’t get pregnant and after having two unexplained miscarriages, Kendal and Dakota found out that they would not be able to conceive a child without the help of IVF. They also found out that their health insurance doesn’t offer coverage for fertility.

In just the few couple of months after receiving the news, they have been doing all the necessary pre-screenings required to begin the IVF process. Their doctor is very optimistic that they will be able to have a baby through IVF. They are holding onto the hope that this will finally be the answer to having a baby, even with the overwhelming costs associated- from medications and procedures.

I couldn’t think of a couple more deserving of having a child of their own than Kendal and Dakota. These two have grown together and loved each other through the toughest of times. They opened their home to a foster daughter, who was the light of their life, and dealt with the loss of her being reunified. Now, they are processing all of the emotions that come with the IVF and everything the process entails. Kendal and Dakota are two people who show up for everyone else, and now it’s our turn to show up for them.

In creating this GoFundMe, it is creating an invitation to be part of their story and to help them carry this load and bring their miracle one step closer.
