To All our Customers, Neighbors & Friends,
As you know, The Owl's Tail is one of thousands of restaurants that had to close its doors due to Covid-19.
On Monday March 16th The Owl's Tail officially closed. This was a devastating decision to make. But it was necessary to keep our staff and guests safe for the remainder of this pandemic.
The result- All 14 staff members lost their jobs. These are our beloved kitchen crew, servers, bartenders & Javy (who's job is a bit of everything). These are the people that live to brighten the end of a long day! The people that pour their hearts into every drink they make for you. The people that know what you want before you do. And they're there day in and day out to offer a place of comfort. We like to think of The Owl's Tail as a family. And every person who comes through that door is family too.
The core of this family are facing terrifying economic uncertainty. We have received so much love and support from our community, (and we know many of you are facing the same fear & devastation), so this plea does not come lightly:
We are asking, if you can, to offer that love & support as a little financial support for our team. They need help.
Any contribution, great or small, is appreciated.
100% OF ALL FUNDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED DIRECTLY TO THE OWL'S TAIL STAFF.
Funds will be distributed to help with rent and other living costs. All donations will be given directly to The Owl's Tail staff not the business.
We know we are not alone in this time of need. We wish you all health, love & peace during this time. And we appreciate anything you can do.
