My name is Kylie Shepherd, and Dave Owens is my dad, and my sweet daughters’ grandpa.

Dave Owens was one of those people that was everywhere. From his career in IT with Kane County, to his place serving on the Kanab Arts Board, he touched many lives, and served the community in many forms. Since he retired from the County, he stayed busy and active in our community, choosing to spend his time helping to organize events like The Nutcracker, and serving as an assistant director for the KHS Theatre Department. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He meant so much to so many of us.

As many of you know, Dave passed away on Sunday May 21st, after fighting health problems for the better part of a decade. Because of these health problems, and testing for a kidney transplant, the Owens family is left with the medical bills as well as the cost of a funeral.
