The Overman Family

This fundraiser is for our best friends Davis and Rachel and their 3 year old daughter, Kylin.  For the past few months Rachel has been having numbness and tingling in her arms and legs, trouble swallowing and stiffness in her neck.  This has been especially difficult for Rachel as she is self employed as a hair stylist. After several months of doctors appointments, chiropractic adjustments, and physical therapy a round of testing has diagnosed her with a mass on her spinal cord. Doctors are unable to biopsy the mass at this time due to its location. Due to this Rachel is scheduled to go in to the hospital for surgery within the next few weeks. After the surgery she will spend a week in the hospital and 1 to 2 days in the  ICU. Once being released from the hospital she will be at home for rehabilitation which can be for six to eight (6-8) weeks. Davis will be the rock of the family during this time and Kylin will be struggling to understand why Rachel will not be able to play with her, hold her or care for her as she usually does.  While this surgery and rehabilitation is necessary for Rachel, it will cause a significant financial strain on the family. We are trying to help relieve some of that stress for the family.   The funds raised will go directly into an account that is set up for them and will go directly to them.  If you are able to assist our friends please know that the financial support is greatly appreciated and will help take some of the stress from them.
