We are Transit Productions, a London based, queer theatre collective and we are fundraising for our new show “The Open Book Project”.

Based on the real life censorship of the Hungarian children’s book “A Fairytale For Everyone”, the show champions the power of queer voices in a world where they are constantly repressed. Queer fairytales dare to dream of an equal, open world, while censorship promotes a return to the shadows. In these times of increased oppression, we cannot allow these stories to be torn apart.

Weekly pay for 5 artists partaking a development period at Canole Theatre at Equity Minimum

Travel & food for 5 artists in the development period

Organisational fee for lead creatives

Pay for artists during scratch nights & further development
