The One Where Kristin Asks For Help

This is the absolute last thing I ever thought I’d do but, unfortunately, here I am.
I was admitted to Methodist Hospital Sugar Land on Thursday, March 27, 2025. I was there until April 15 and was then transferred to a long-term rehabilitation hospital in Sugar Land called Encompass, which is where I am now. I’m doing intense physical therapy, occupational therapy, and I’m relearning how to swallow.
My diagnoses are c diff, pancreatitis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, Werneke’s Enchephalitis, and Acute Metabolic Encephalopathy. And I died for a bit
I’m lucky that I have incredible insurance (still have a deductible but that’s the least of my worries).
However, if I’m not working, I don’t get paid, and real-life bills add up.
I don’t know when I’ll be ready to go back to work, but I’d guess a month. I’m going to apply for disability but it’s not guaranteed and can take time. I’m looking to bridge the gap.
I never thought I’d be someone posting a GoFundMe for myself, but here I am.
If you can spare anything, I would really appreciate it.
