The Odle family needs our help!

Hi, my name is Katie and I am fundraising for the Odle family. Ciara and I met when we signed our daughters up for cheerleading 6 years ago. We now coach our daughters and have formed the strongest of friendships. In February the Odle family welcomed their miracle baby! Their third baby girl, Reese Layne, was born a healthy 9 lb 7 oz bundle of joy.

Just this week, Ciara, who is a nurse by trade, noticed a bump in Reese’s abdomen. After keeping a close eye on the bump, she noticed it starting to grow. She immediately followed up with Reese’s physician and a trip to the ER. On May 18th, Mike and Ciara heard the terrifying news that no parent should have to hear. Three month old, Reese, has a malignant tumor called a hepatoblastoma. After many days in the hospital, her medical team is confident that they have devised a plan to treat this tumor. The treatment could require Ciara to take off of work up to one year. Time that has already been depleted since being on maternity leave. This is an added stressor on top of their baby’s diagnosis. I am hoping that our community can pull together to alleviate that stress for the Odle’s. If you are in a position to make a donation, I know they would be forever grateful.
