Film on a Veteran’s life after returning to America

Hi,

my name is Pedro Pablo Vivas, I am a 26-year-old Nicaraguan-American writer & actor. I've spent the past two years studying theatre in Los Angeles. And now I'm diving into the world of filmmaking as a student-filmmaker. I've worked as an actor, assistant camera, & production assistant in the indie and studio filmmaking industry.

Being in LA is both exciting and tough, that's why I'm reaching out for your support for my first film project in LA, called "Odds" to help raise awareness about the struggles veterans face when coming home.

"One-liner:

A disillusioned veteran living in LA is hailed as a hero but feels like a stranger, battling humiliation while seeking a sense of belonging, which spirals him into darkness.

"Odds" logline:

John, a troubled war veteran, seeks refuge in his friendship with Richard, an unpredictable drug dealer. However, their camaraderie takes a perilous turn as John is drawn deeper into Richard's chaotic world, where he navigates a maze of moral ambiguity, personal demons, and life-threatening situations to reclaim his sanity and forge a new path forward.

This project holds a special place in my heart as it explores themes of destiny, impatience, and uncertainty about the future. Drawing inspiration from thought-provoking dramas, "Odds" is for audiences seeking depth and introspection.
