We teachers at Oakland High are on strike. We hope to return to school as quickly as possible once we have a tentative agreement that addresses staffing, pay, facilities, class sizes, and student support. We can't be successful, however, without community support.

Striking is often difficult, both mentally and financially. Many of our members are struggling to pay bills and make ends meet! This is why we are setting up a strike fund to help cover our most vulnerable union members who are standing in solidarity with us now. Please consider donating to our fund to help sustain our cause.
