I hope you are well & enjoying the summer. As you maybe already know i started the The NYCE Project about 5 years ago with the intention of helping those in need. Over the course of that time with the help of extremely generous people like yourself we have fed & clothed the homeless, purchased Christmas presents for families in need, fed the hungry during Thanksgiving and many more incredible acts of kindness. I am currently undergoing my biggest help project yet. I’m trying to get a friend & former HHS graduate back on his feet after his life was devastated financially & socially by Covid. He was the former VP of a large fitness company for 10 years where he oversaw 14 health clubs in the Northeast Region. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic he lost his house, car, dog & 2 cats. He has no job right now & is currently living in a hotel room by himself. He reached out to me 2 weeks ago on the verge of suicide. I promised him I would help but unfortunately I just don’t have the resources alone. I NEED your help! I’m trying to raise money to find him an apartment so we can get him a job & get him back on his feet. I know times are tough but this is another human being who is hurting and alone. I’ve learned that life isn’t about what you can get but more importantly about what you can give & that true success lies in helping others. Whatever you can contribute if anything would be greatly appreciated.
