At about 1:30 am, on June 20, 2022, The Nusz family was awakened to a nightmare as they quickly realized their home of over a decade was engulfed in flames. The house, as well as their belongings were a total loss. While no one was injured in the house fire, everything that Rick, Heather, and the kids had aquired over a lifetime was now gone. Within a week of losing their home and possessions, Heather and Rick were both struck with Covid. While they are in the process of recovering their health in their hotel room, they are working tirelessly to replace their home and everything they own. Heather is still bravely continuing her battle with Lyme disease.
