Ollie and Rachel will be walking Hadrian’s Wall for the North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team www.notmrt.org.uk in June as part of 33 Architecture’s 10-year celebrations. We aim to complete the 84 mile walk in 4 days. Even though we’d class ourselves as ‘walkers’ this is still a massive challenge!
We love the setting, sites and buildings in Northumberland, spending a lot of time enjoying the countryside both in and out of 33 Architecture. The North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team provides a vital lifesaving, emergency search and rescue service across a massive 5,000km² of largely remote Northumberland. The team is entirely staffed by unpaid volunteers, good people who get up in the middle of the night 365 days a year to search for and rescue others that are injured and missing. Funded solely by charitable donations, any donations big or small help towards vital training for the team and equipment to aid them in their rescuing efforts.
Thanks for visiting our Go Fund Me page. Keep an eye on Instagram for walk updates from 2-6 June and let’s hope we don’t need the NOTMR on our walk!
