The Nomad Narrator: A Mobile Studio Project

THE NOMAD NARRATOR is a long-form audio adventure, growing the audio book world's sense of connection by featuring narrators across America - their spaces  and their stories - in podcast and picture. While attempting to record a book in every state!

A plucky 2012 Ford Transit Connect now dubbed the Vincent Van Go will be undergoing quite the transformation in coming months as I convert it into the complete mobile recording studio needed to... get rolling!

Between a generous arts grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women and my own personal contribution to the project, about 2/3 of the $15k total project budget is secured.

I could seek corporate sponsorships or try to win more grant funding to cover the remaining amount... but the founding principle of this project is COMMUNITY - fostering, nurturing, and growing connection.  So I firmly believe in the necessity of crowdsourcing the remaining $5k directly from our amazing community of audio book creators, listeners, and lovers!
