The Ninth Annual Junior Goodwill Games

Donation protected
Now in its ninth year of celebration, the Games started as a weekend for old college friends to get together and reminisce on the past and reconnect.  Today, it serves the same purpose, but now we have a reason to get drunk. We now raise money for charity. Our past beneficiaries have been cancer research, covered medical expenses for our friends, scholarships and mental health awareness causes.

Last year, we raised over $2,500 for the Cole Patrick Scholarship Fund. Cole was a Delta Upsilon pledge, who tragically passed away in a car accident just weeks after being initiated. We will also be pledging additional funds towards the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. My brother, Paul McGannon, has been nominated for LLS Man of the Year in Miami, FL. Funds raised will go towards blood cancer treatment and research as funded by LLS.

All Goodwill Games participants (and non-participants) are encouraged to make a donation to help us blow past our set goal of $3,000 this year.

Let's raise money. Let's drink some beer. Let's raise some hell.

Dikaia Upotheke and thank you,

Brian McGannon, Fall '05
