Mondays is a family-friendly brand built to make people look forward to Mondays again. We are Paul and Tatum, the Romanowski Family, long-time East Jordan, MI residents that have a vested interest in seeing East Jordan succeed. Tatum has lived here for almost 40 years, while Paul moved here five years ago to marry Tatum.
We live here, we have been raising our kids here, and we are committed to bringing our best to our community. We’re expanding our beloved ice cream shop into a modern comfort-food restaurant — a place where families gather, share a meal, and connect.
We are looking for $35,000 in donations and/or investment to help us get our new restaurant open before the holidays. We have everything we need in place, we just need the funding to make it happen. Everything about Mondays has taken place in a very short time period (we only opened in July of 2025), so opening a restaurant three months later was not exactly in the plan (or our bank account). But the opportunity presented itself, the team of people have stepped up to make it happen, and now we are just waiting for the funding to arrive.
With strong local loyalty and a scalable model focused on modern comfort food and family connection, we’re creating a restaurant experience that can grow across northern Michigan. We’re building the heart of East Jordan, one table at a time.

Thank you for all of the support, kind words and messages. We know that this is a difficult time for everyone, us included. Asking for donations was our last resort, and we really have been so grateful for everyone who has stepped up to help make Mondays Good Eats a reality.
We have crossed our first $1000 donation mark so we wanted to update you as to where that money will be spent:
