My brother, his wife and two year old son were in a terrible accident on Thursday morning. A speeding driver hit their vehicle causing them to spin out across all lanes of the highway and slam them into a tree. The driver didn’t stop. My brother spent the night in the ICU with a grade three laceration to his spleen, fractures to his hand, and scrapes all over his body. He had surgery last night on his hand and remains in the hospital. My sister-in-law suffered a laceration to her head, a concussion, bruised ribs, multiple bumps, bruises and scrapes. Thank goodness their 2yo escaped completely unharmed. They were on the way back from a mini trip and had all of their belongings with them, including the baby’s stroller, pack N play and much more. The items are not able to be retrieved. After seeing pics of their car they are truly blessed to still be alive. Because of this accident, my brother will be out of work for a few months and His wife is already out of work temporarily due to Covid. Anyone who knows me, knows I’m not one who would normally ask for help. These are hard times for everyone right now and money can’t fix the trauma to this amazing family, but any little bit will help them get back on their feet. They can really use all the help they can get right now. I appreciate any help you’re able to give. I hope everyone stays healthy and safe during these crazy times.
