The Newkirks Need Help Keeping Food, Home, & Diapers, etc
Donation protected

Hello kind-hearted supporters,
We are the Newkirks, a family of three — my husband, our young son, and me — walking through a season of deep trials with faith, hope, and determination. Alongside us are our two beloved dogs and our sweet cat, who have been constant comforts in a time of uncertainty.
Last fall, I was unexpectedly hospitalized for over a month due to serious health complications. Part of that time required out-of-state medical care, separating me from my home and family during a physically and emotionally exhausting time. Just as we began to recover from that storm, my husband faced his own medical emergency this past month, leaving him hospitalized for a week and a half.
I became a stay-at-home mother last July, and with that, we shifted to living on one income. My husband recently began a new job, and we’ve done everything we can to live as intentionally and frugally, in a way that honors what God gave us, knowing we aren’t perfect — including making our home as free as possible from harmful chemicals (also due to chronic health and mental health concerns we both manage).
We are also so very thankful and blessed to be able to utilize our local church’s food shelf that we plan to utilize at their next availability time, next week. Without the Holy Spirit and our Church community we do not know where our family would be.
This season we had hoped would be the one where we moved into a new home, where we would welcome another child into our lives. But after more than six miscarriages in five years, we’re still waiting on the Lord with open arms and hearts and, if not, we accept a new plan.
In the middle of all of this, we started a small business in May 2024 — a leap of faith toward financial independence and serving others in a way that reflects our values. We are doing everything we can to not lose the roof over our heads, the foundation we’ve worked so hard to build, or the vision God gave us for our future.
We are humbly asking for help during this time — whether through financial support, prayer, or sharing our story. Your generosity will help us:
• Stay in our home
• Continue our business
• Keep our utilities and basic needs met
• Cover lingering medical expenses and care
• Create a stable and healing environment for our son
We believe God has a purpose in this season, and we’re trusting that He will make beauty from these ashes. Thank you for walking with us, for believing in restoration, and for being the hands and feet of Jesus in our time of need.
With love and faith,
Robert, Kalley and Family
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
— Romans 8:28
Thank you and God Bless!
