The New Waterloo ABC

The old substation that was once Waterloo ABC has stood empty for 20 years, myself,Shaun Farmer and a few ex Waterloo fighters are wanting to bring it back to life and make it into a non profitable community gym, funding has been knocked back as the gym is not up and running and in order to get it up and running we need funds,I have purchased a ring and some equipment through a sponsor and money from my own pocket,I feel the area is and has been for years crying out for a boxing club.
Our aim is to produce champions from Waterloo,Crosby or Thornton where I’m from.
This gym I guarantee will help hundreds of local children become better people in adult life and will give them grounding, discipline and a superb story,Boxing will become a way of life, just like it has for millions around the world.
I’m doing the Liverpool Marathon in May and putting myself through hell to raise funds for the gym,it’s going to cost thousands to do this, buying equipment, lease fees and rates do not come cheap.
I’ve put a £3000 target,this will be a figure I’m guessing at,I will cost that and some.
Scottish power the owners have been great up to now and are renovating the sub and have given us the lease at a good rate, please give generously as we the ex fighters will give our time up(which is more precious than anything) up to make your kids better people
