The new and improved Dutch Robot Games arena
Donation protected
Hey, roboteers and bot fans!
The Dutch Robot Games, a community-driven initiative, has organised robotic competitions since 2001. Our events are free for participants, and our community provides support in various ways for designing and building robots. Over the past 20 years, we've used the same arena in various configurations. However, with the current advancements in robot technology and the increasing kinetic energy released, we need an upgrade.
Our plan is to build a 5.5m x 5.5m Featherweight arena using an existing trailer as a base. The fold-out construction ensures easy transport and assembly. This new arena will be equipped with Hardox steel floor/sides and thick polycarbonate side panels, ensuring the highest level of portable safety. The trailer will also feature integrated mounting for lights, sound, and screens, enhancing the audience experience. Banners on the top and bottom of the arena provide ample customisation and sponsor possibilities.
Currently the funding from both the Dutch Robot Games and the German Robot Association combined allow us to start, but in order to finish the construction of the arena we need some additional funding. We believe in the power of our community, so we're reaching out to you for your support! Any and all donations are gratefully received, thank you all in advance!
