The Neorr Family: House lost to Fire #HLStrong
Last week, a house fire burned down the Neorr Home, where Marcia Neorr, her son Joel, and grandson, Isaac, live.
A hard-working family man with one of the kindest souls out there, Joel is an incredible father, friend, and active member of the community.
Professionally, Joel recently became the kitchen manager at The Limberlost, where he is not onlyan incredible boss but also role model and colleague. More importantly, he has spent the past nine years coaching youth baseball and three years coaching Jaguar Football (Grades 3-6). In addition to spending time engaging the youth in sports, Joel has even served as an assistant youth leader at the Houghton Lake Methodist Church for three years in the past.
Joel is a Houghton Laker through and through. Spending eleven years of his school years at Houghton Lake, so many of our lives in this community have been enriched because of this man and his family.
2020 and 2021 have been challenging years for all, but to lose your home to a house fire is a form of suffering that no one should endure. Please consider making any gift of any amount to a wonderful family full of love for not only one another but this community. #HLStrong
