The Nelson Family Home Fire- Canby, MN

Hi, my name is Misti Quiring (Nelson), I am the youngest biological daughter of Sherry and Rick Nelson. My parents raised myself and my five siblings and when we all graduated and "flew the coop" they opened their hearts and home to foster children. During their fostering journey, they felt led by the Lord to adopt a family of 6 siblings and for the past 6+ years they have raised those children as their own.

In the spring of 2022 a massive storm hit their home, sweeping the new roof off and carrying it to the back of their farm before sending it through the side of one of their polesheds. The extensive winds and rain caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages. Throughout the year they were able to repair and rebuild their home. Less than a month ago, they installed the last of the cabinets from the repair/rebuild.

Today, on 7/7/2023 they lost their home and all it's contents to a fire. The funds donated here will go to help cover their living expenses and basic needs while they navigate the days ahead.
