My next book will be called The Neck Breaker:Ten Tantras of the Universal Ti. The essence of the A Ti: the Great Perfection or Dzogchen, is the Yang Ti. The essence of the Yang Ti, is the sPyi Ti: The Universal Ti. Volume Ten of the Hundred Thousand Tantras of the Ancients, the Nyingma Gyubum, is called the Neck Breaker (gNya’ gcog) and is devoted to the Universal Ti. Volume Ten contains thirty-three Tantras. My next book will be a translation of the first ten of these Tantras. This is very exciting material, showing us applications for Great Perfection thinking that are meaningful in our time. The cycle of the Universal Ti is most closely associated with the translation work of Padmasambhava, but he is not the only one to translate these Tantras. These Tantras date back to the Eighth century of our era. The Ten Tantras that I will be translating fill 259 pages of Tibetan manuscript. This will result in a book of about six hundred pages in the English. I hope that you will support this effort!
