Kelly and Chandler Murch are nearly done with the foster care licensing process! From background checks, classes, references, interviews and inspections ...they are almost there. Soon they will be welcoming 1-2 littles at a time, ages newborn - 5-yrs-old! The length of their stay and their stories will vary, but they will all be in the need of the love and care they will give them.  

I have known Kelly for over five years now and feel honored to have been her bridesmaid and call her my friend.  I have never met a more generous loving person who has dedicated her life to people in need.  She volunteers for the Red Cross working directly with fire victims, and recently flew to Hawaii to lead the setup of Hurricane Evacuation Shelters when storms threatened the Big Island.  She regularly volunteers at the USO serving military families, and her husband Chandler tutors refugee children that have moved to the Seattle area.  I cannot imagine better people to welcome in Foster Children in need of a home.  However, the process of completing a home that has all the supplies and clothing needed for ages newborn- 5-yrs-old has been extremely expensive.  I set up this GoFundMe for them to ease the financial strain that this decision to become Foster Parents has created, as well as a way for all of us to show them support.

They want to share their gratitude been for the donations of used gear and some new gifts they've received, and have just a few items left that would make their lives so much easier, and some that will help with the medically fragile infants they may host. Below is their wishlist, and given that a number of the items are pricey, it seemed most straightforward to set up a fund so a contribution in any amount can help! This way they can shop sales/consignment and stretch every last dollar.
