"I'd like to tell you about my friend, Adela. I met Adela through bike riding and we shared many great adventures together with our cycling friends. She was a sweet, fun, loving, smart, funny, engaging soul who once you met, was your friend.

On Sunday, Adela was riding bikes with friends when she was hit and killed by a car that crossed over into her lane. She did nothing wrong. Our friend is gone, and I'm heartbroken that I will never get to laugh again with her nor see her beautiful, smiling face."
