The Movement Museum is an interactive, site-specific dance show where audiences are guided through a series of exhibits featuring local dancers of various disciplines and styles.
Premiering at this summer's 2022 Hamilton Fringe festival, the hope is for this show to become a semi-annual event featuring a rotating cast of dancers and exhibits. Our first run of The Movement Museum will perform on July 23rd, 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th from 7-8 pm.
We turn towards our community and ask you to consider helping us make our first production of The Movement Museum a reality through your financial support.
How will your financial contributions support us in our goal?
- Festival fees
- Studio time
- Set design and audio equipment are needed to ensure all pieces can run simultaneously.
- In helping to assure all artists are paid fairly for the work involved in producing such a large show. This applies to both the rehearsal process as well as the final shows.
Artists involved that your funding will support:
The Movement Museum will be directed and curated by Alyssa Nedich & Josh Taylor
Performers: Eshe Despres, Alexandria DiFazio, Sarah Dowhun-Tompa, Brian Estime, Mike Glenney, Chris Luczon, Marlon Mendoza, Michele Miedzybrodzki, Janessa Pudwell, Dylan Vandemaele
Too often, passion project productions pay out of pocket and cannot pay artists adequately for their time, skills, and talent. We believe that with your help, we can do just that. We want to create and produce a passion project where these incredible performers are paid well so they can show up and focus on creating a memorable experience for audiences.
