I am Tony Ellis of Equitas Support, and I have established the Motor Trade Bereavement Fund to support families within the motor trade industry who are facing the devastating loss of a loved one. Our aim is to help ease the financial burden of funeral costs while also offering practical and emotional support during incredibly difficult times.

This year, we were deeply saddened by the loss of “Mr G” (name withheld at the family’s request), who tragically took his own life after being left in £65,000 of debt following the insolvency of “Evolution Warranties Limited”. This heartbreaking situation has had a profound impact on his family and the wider motor trade community.

We are currently working to raise £5,000 to help cover funeral expenses and provide additional support to his family as they navigate this loss. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
