Hello everyone

On Tuesday July 15th,2025 our parents Jim and Marni were involved in a motorcycle accident just outside of Polson Montana. Bad weather hit and the Harley hydroplaned which resulted in both our parents hitting the ditch.
Our dad Jim was thrown about 50ft from the Harley and was rushed to St. Joseph Medical Clinic in Polson in which he cleared all testing. He does have two fractured fingers on his left hand, a third broken rib and is severally banged up and bruised on his left side. He was luckily discharged hours after the accident.

Our mom Marn was thrown about 100ft from the Harley and was airlifted from the scene to Logan Health Hospital in Kalispell. She has been admitted ever since. Her diagnosis is a small brain bleed, concussion, broken clavicle, two broken ribs, a laceration to her spleen and a small puncture to her lung. She is suffering from short term memory loss, however, the doctor said that is to be expected. Each day is she improving. She will be needing surgery in which a plate and screws will be placed in her clavicle due to the severity of the break.

As of right now, Thursday July 17, 2025 we are hoping to be discharged and able to safely get both Jim and Marni back to Canada to continue medical care by Saturday July 19th, 2025. But that is all determined by the state of our mom. Myself Courtney, my son Miller, my sister Cassidie, my Auntie Crystal and Uncle Brent are all currently in the states taking it day by day.

The road to recovery is going to be long for both of them in which working will be not an option. Our parents are stubborn and not ones to ask for help especially financially. But in this time asking for help is not a weakness and we as a family appreciate all of you. Thank you for all the kind words, thoughts and love, it has not gone unnoticed.

With love and gratitude,
