I remember walking into Liberty University freshman year praying that God would bring me life long friends. He answered that prayer by introducing me to Lauren. We have walked through college, finding our husbands, youth ministry, being pastor wives, and moments of utter loss. After several miscarriages and 2 molar pregnancies, Lauren never gave up her hope of completing their family.

We have prayed together for years that God would close her traumatic memories with a baby in her arms one more time. God answered her and Caleb's prayer and they are expecting another precious baby girl! At her 22 week ultrasound they found that Lauren has vasa previa and placenta previa which put both mom and baby at risk for hemorrhaging. Due to these complications Lauren is now hospitalized far from her husband and other children. The doctors are expressing that this complication may be a two month stay in the hospital even after baby is delivered and placed in the NICU. Caleb is having to drive two hours one way to check on her once or twice a week and then back home to the kids. With the medical expenses piling, gas, food, hotels for long period of stays and the NICU department awaiting for their sweet baby girl to potentially arrive as early as 32 weeks, they could use some help. The medical expenses will be astronomical so this fundraiser would not be able to cover all of that, but we hope this will at least relieve the pressure of smaller living expenses while they are in the hospital. I have witnessed this family serve the Lord in ministry for years, giving everything they can to the church body, and they have continued to have unwavering faith.
