The Miracle of Edgar
My dear Edgar is my best friend and an angel. When he was 3 months old, I rescued him from an animal shelter called “Angels for Animals.” Although I thought I was rescuing Edgar, I soon came to realize, Edgar was rescuing me after a very painful divorce that left me estranged from my two beautiful daughters and lonely.
As a guardian angel and a protector, Edgar is strong, sweet and gentle. Although he’s 11, he has the energy of a 3-year-old who loves running, jumping and playing with everyone. He’ll likely live to be 15 or 16 because of his healthy lifestyle, diet, exercise, yoga, and meditation practice. Everyone who meets Edgar falls in love with him. He has a way of recognizing who needs the most love and attention in a room and will lie next to them, providing unconditional love.
Pre-pandemic, Edgar developed a benign fatty tumor that has grown steadily to the size of a Nerf football located under his rib cage. The tumor will not stop growing and now affects his ability to run, play, be happy and love everyone he meets. Due to its large size, the tumor requires surgery estimated at $4,200 from the Flint Animal Surgical Center.
Because of the pandemic, my business is down 20%, making it very challenging to cover this medical expense on my own. I’ve never asked for money; I’ve always earned it. This is what my parents taught me from a very young age. And so I’m humbly asking for your financial help, blessings, thoughts, prayers, and high vibrations for a successful surgery scheduled on Tuesday, January 24th.
Anything you can give financially is deeply appreciated. Your donation will help Edgar continue loving me and others as we all should be loved; unconditionally.
Edgar’s life is a miracle that anything is possible when we believe all things are possible in ourselves and others.
Thank you for your prayers, love, and financial consideration.
Love,
Carl & Edgar
