The Mingo family needs your help !

Hi my name is Alicia Cavalier and my good friend of 36 years , Dione Mingo needs our help , yesterday her beautiful daughter was a passenger in a horrible accident maple ridge on a motorcycle and hit an SUV , Sarah was ejected off the bike and flew about 60 feet , Sarah was airlifted to RCH and is in critical condition, Dione is a mother of Six children and is trying to make ends meet on her own , she works a few jobs and I want her to be able to be there at the hospital with her daughter and not worry about how she is gonna pay the rent or feed the kids ! Update September 21 2023

Sarah’s been diagnosed with diffuse axonal injury to her brain (DAI). She came out of the coma on Sept 16th and was extubated on the 17th. Unfortunately to date Sarah remains unresponsive. She has yet to make eye contact, or track movements with her eyes. She has also not made any sounds. The hospital has been struggling to keep her heart rate and blood pressure regulated due to pain. She has had two surgeries on her right arm and one to repair her left hand. We are waiting on the orthos assessment of her scapula to form a plan for treatment. The doctors are hopeful Sarah will regain consciousness and make a recovery of some kind but they are unsure what that will look like and can not say for certain anything except it’s going to be slow and take a long time
