The Millicans

Hello, my name is Debbie Cason. I am fundraising for Tim and Kathy Millican.

Tim was in a car crash years ago in which he sustained a head injury. He began having seizures about a year later. He became disabled and since that time has had multiple brain surgeries.

The couple were celebrating their 46th Anniversary on Sanibel Island where Tim became unresponsive and was hospitalized in the ICU in nearby Fort Myers, FL. He was diagnosed with liver failure and resultant encephalitis from the unfiltered toxins in his blood. Tim was too medically fragile to transport to a hometown hospital. He has now stabilized and will return home to a Rehabilitation facility to continue his recovery, eventually. Meanwhile, expenses continue to accumulate.

Tim and Kathy are two of the best people I know. They are always generous with others. Many of you may know Kathy as she has been a Belk Associate for decades.

Kathy has remained in Florida with Tim and therefore has been away from her job. She has a car rental and a hotel room. The expenses continue to accumulate. Meanwhile, basic household monthly bills, ie mortgage, car payment and utilities remain unpaid.

Please consider a donation to this couple to help assuage their financial concerns. It would be amazing to reach a goal which would cover 3 months of household expenses!
