Help the Miller's catch up to their dreams.

Hi, my name is Jeremy Miller, and I am raising funds to help my little family continue to reach for our goals.

About 9 years ago, Samantha and I started Match Accessories. It has been a wild ride and brought more goodness into our lives than we could have ever dreamed. The business has always made money, but as small businesses go the vast majority of that money has always gone back into the business to help it grow, and oh boy has it. A few months ago, what will likely be a once in a lifetime experience for us, a shop space 5 minutes from our house opened up in Downtown Livermore. We were not prepared for this, but due to the unlikeliness of the situation we felt we had to make the jump because we will likely never have the change again.

Since taking over the space, performing the light renovation and repair of it, and moving in we have invested our meager "life savings" into the process. This definitely helped get the ball rolling, but we are far from finished. Due to eagerness and lack of planning on my part, this has ended up putting us in a place of struggle. The shop is making enough to keep its doors open, but having exhausted the back up funds we're kind of spinning without the ability to make enough new product or invest the money needed into promotion/etc. to get over this hump.

Asking this seems ridiculous to me, there are people with far larger problems they are facing in this world, but I'm kind of out of immediate options. I know it would be easy to just say it didn't work out, but we are not quitters. Even if we raise zero funds in this manner we will keep going. We know the future for Match is bright.

We've had such amazing support over the years that asking for any more, without offering anything certain in return makes me feel sick to my stomach... but it's time to humble myself and ask the community at large for help.

I will be keeping track of all donations made, and will make the effort to return the donations to everyone as we get past this and start making real progress again.

In closing, I can't help but think all of this sounds superfluous, but Match has become so important to my little family. All of us are so proud of Match, and the relationships it has brought into our lives. Most of all, through Sam's health battles it has given her a way to work and contribute without the stress of working for someone else and juggling taking care of herself. So again, if you can help, I will forever be grateful... and if you cannot I appreciate any support we have had.
