Hello everyone! Surprise! Our family is expecting a 5th miller baby. Another sweet girl, Ophelia. Due February 15th, 2026.
I wish we can come bearing good news. But this pregnancy has been nothing short of twists and turns for Amanda. And she is only 25 weeks currently on top of it.
On Thursday night, 10/30, Amanda started bleeding and cramping with Braxton hicks contractions. She went to the emergency room at Morristown hamblen and was sent home after being told they are a low risk hospital and could only monitor the baby. Baby girl looked great on the monitors and amanda went home. She started bleeding again Friday night (10/31) into the morning of November 1st. She went to UT hospital labor and delivery triage and upon checking her, they discovered the bleeding is coming from somewhere other than her cervix and to follow up with HIROC for an ultrasound.
She went in for her appointment with HIROC 11/3 and had her ultrasound and spoke with the OB. He informed her she has a partial placental abruption and that she will need to monitor the baby’s growth every 3 weeks.
She cannot work right now and is needing to be on bed rest to keep her abruption from worsening and to keep potential preterm labor from happening.
We know this time is hard for everyone, with benefits being cut and the holiday season coming close. Please donate what you can to help support them in this time since she has to be on tight restrictions for the next 3 months and cannot work. If you cannot donate right now, then please share this. But most importantly, please pray for them as they navigate this difficult pregnancy.
