The Miller Morris Passport Giveaway

I've been traveling the world, sharing my adventures, and making the idea of exploring our beautiful planet more attainable for everyone who follows my journey.

Every year, I celebrate my birthday in a unique way, aiming to make someone's dream of international travel come true through the Miller Morris Project. Why, you ask? Allow me to share my story.

As a young girl growing up in Gastonia, North Carolina, I rarely saw people who looked like me embarking on journeys to exotic destinations. It often felt like travel was reserved for the privileged. Against the odds, at the age of 23, I defied expectations, moved to Germany, and embarked on a life of exploration. Through my travels, I discovered the world and myself, and I'm determined to offer that opportunity to anyone with wanderlust in their hearts.

My desire to give back to my community led me to create the Miller Morris Project. This project is a tribute to my grandparents, who worked tirelessly to provide for our family but never had the chance to see the world beyond the East Coast. Through this project, we honor their legacy by granting others the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of travel.

Initially, I started by awarding three passports to deserving applicants. However, my mission caught the attention of the Black Travel Alliance, and we joined forces, enabling us to grant six passports in the second cycle. What a blessing that was!

But I'm not stopping there. This year, my goal is to grant 10 passports to individuals who, like me, once viewed travel as an unattainable dream. And that's where you can make a difference!

I've established this GoFundMe page to help turn these dreams into reality. I need your support to make it happen. Alone, I can make a difference for a few, but together, we can inspire, educate, and empower others to explore the wonderful world of travel.
