The Mike Whitesides family fund

Hey there! My name is Kayla, I'm Mike's daughter. I'm organizing this Go Fund Me for my dad and his family. On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, my dad had an Lacunar stroke which impacted his left side of his body, leaving him with limited mobility in his left leg, left arm and hand, a small speech deficit and a bit of a droopy left eye. My dad is strong and recovering! It has been amazing to see his progress since his stroke. At first he could not walk or move the left side of his body. Recently, he could move his foot in a triangle on the ground and move his thumb! He has a long road to continue recovering with therapies and medical attention. This puts some pressure on my family; especially for my mom and my sisters- who are still in high school. I would like to organize this Go Fund Me to try to take some of that stress off their shoulders. Donating to relieve the financial burden of medical bills, rides for my sisters to be transported to school and to the hospital while my mom works, and funding meals would be very helpful.
