The Mike Kroll Memorial Fund

Donation protected
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Michael Kroll, or as many knew him, “Big Mike.” He lived every second of his 71 years of life to the absolute fullest. If you have ever had the pleasure of crossing paths with him, then you know the contagious impact of his laugh and booming personality. He never hesitated to go the extra mile for his family, friends, students, or honestly any person that he met along his wonderful journey of life. Every conversation was left with a smile, every tournament he sponsored left with lasting memories, and each kid was always treated and taken care of as if they were his own. In addition to every life he touched on the court, he impacted just as many off of the court with his continued mentorship and generosity.

His presence is still so felt, as his personality had an ever-lasting impression. His legacy will not be an easy one to fill. He was a man of every trade. Whether it be an all-star athlete, pilot, carpenter, or coach. What could he not do? No matter what you needed, he was the man to call for so many people.

We will be celebrating his larger-than-life journey on January 18th, 2024. The funeral mass will begin at 1 pm at Christ the King Catholic Church on January 18th. Reception to follow.

**In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Mike Kroll Memorial Fund. This fund will be used to assist an underprivileged student athlete in the Tampa Bay area on their path to attend college. Proceeds may also be used to assist with any unforeseen medical expenses.
