Hi, my name is Kira. I'm looking to raise funds to help two of my closest friends.

My best friend April fell in love with her husband Justin at the age of 14, and they have been inseparable ever since.

Their son Austin just started his second semester at college.

A few months ago, Justin was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma. Recently, Justin was accepted into clinical trial based out of Connecticut. This is very promising and exciting news, but will be taking both Justin and April out of work for the foreseeable future. Traveling back and forth from New York to Connecticut, staying in hotel rooms while also attending specialty doctors down in NYC, will start to put a strain on the family while going through this difficult time. My hopes is to have as many friends, family and strangers donate to help The Meyettes to be able to focus solely on Justin's treatment and not worry about paying for medical expenses and hotel stays during this trial.
