The Metropolitan Police Widows & Widowers Support Group UK - 5th Anniversary.

This year marks a special milestone, the 5th Anniversary of our support group.

To honour those we have lost but hold close in our hearts, we'll begin the day with a anniversary mass.

Afterwards we'll come together for a Sunday lunch, where we will raise a gentle toast in their memory.

We will also be celebrating us, the strength, friendship and kindness that have carried us through the most difficult times.

We are fundraising to support the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund. We'll also be holding a fun fundraising activity at our anniversary lunch, with all proceeds going to this incredible charity.

I've chosen this fund again because of their ongoing support they've given me and my two children since my husband passed away from bowel cancer in October 2016 and the support they have given to some of the members in my group.

We warmly invite you to celebrate with us by contributing. Your donations will go directly to helping families who need it most.

The target this year is £300.
