Creating a life where I can be in service to the upliftment of others is my sole purpose and greatest passion. It has taken a long journey of extraordinary life experiences and healing to reach a place in life where I am able to use my gifts in ways that not only help others, but are true to my heart. It is not easy to ask for help, but that is exactly what I’m doing with this campaign.
I am asking for help so that I can help others, specifically those dealing with mental health issues, trauma, disease and death. As a current practitioner of Lomilomi Hawaiian Spiritual Massage, I have had more and more people coming to me wanting support around serious illnesses, including cancer and cancer related issues. I have been working carefully and intuitively with these folks but the bottom line is that my lack of specific training is limiting what I am able to provide and how many people I can reach. In addition to this, another truth is that it is not everyone’s journey to heal completely at the physical level. In our society, this subject can be difficult and confronting, and often people feel ill equipped to deal with these situations when they arise. My desire is to meet people where they are, and hold space for their eternalness, providing physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual support as required.
I am seeking support to further educate myself beyond my current bodywork qualifications and counselling degree. Specifically, oncological massage (two levels) and Deathwalking- the process of supporting people in end of life transition and their loved ones.
The courses are happening at multiple locations throughout the year and early next year, with the Deathwalker training being held here in Melbourne in July. There are a variety of ways that you can help me to help others. Either make a straight donation of any amount, or choose from the list of exchanges below:
A- Straight donation of any value
B- $25+ in exchange for an MP3 version of my original song ‘1-4-6’, a satirical look at the Dr Joe experience (see video)
C- $50+ in exchange for item B, plus my rendition of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’
D- $100+ in exchange for item C plus a personalised distance healing session for you or a pet in need (I have trained in animal communication with the world renown Anna Breytenbach from South Africa)
E- $150+ in exchange for item C plus a 90 minute Lomilomi (or voucher that can be gifted to a person of your choice (Melbourne or Daylesford areas) or put into the ‘suspended massage’ account and paid forward to a person in need.
The financial goal set is $5,000. This amount will cover course fees, reading materials, specialist equipment and various travel expenses. Any excess funds received will be put toward subsidising treatments for people in need.
NB: No person requiring treatment from me will ever be refused access to services on the basis of their financial circumstances. Individuals in financial difficulty will be treated by donation or free of charge if required.
The healing work of Dr Joe Dispenza has created an enormous metamorphosis in my life. I intend to spend the rest of it finding ways to pay that forward. As we go through our many transitions in life, we need the strength, the support, and the unity of our community to make our way in full connection to the divine miracles inherent in the journey.
