Hi, my name is Mark Newmyer, and I'm starting a fundraiser for the family of Salud, Rocio, and Julian Mendez. On Saturday, August 14th, their family home caught fire. The Mendez family has a long road ahead to get back on their feet and the Crete Community is the exact type of community that is more than capable of rallying around a family like the Mendez's. I cannot speak about the entire family, but I have gotten to know their son Julian. He is a smart, responsible, hard-working young man that puts his faith at the forefront of his life. That said, I know that the people who raised him must be equally good!
