My Dad, Tim Mendenhall had surgery earlier this month to fix atrial fibrillation that has plagued him for years. Unfortunately, he suffered a major stroke right after his surgery. Since then he has been hospitalized and is current in the ICU at Arroyo Grande Acute Rehab. He has had multiple setbacks including liver damage and serious internal bleeding.

My Dad has suffered two heart attacks in years past and had a defibrillator installed 15 years ago. He is fighting but he has a long road ahead of him. Everyday brings new challenges including the fact that he may need long term care if he recovers.

As you can imagine the medical bills are piling up. I started this go fund me to help my Step-Mom in some small way. They do have insurance but it only pays so much and we do not know how long my Dad will be in the hospital.
