This year, I’m taking on the incredible challenge of running the Berlin Marathon to support Alzheimer’s Research UK, a cause that is close to my heart. Like so many others, I’ve seen the devastating impact Alzheimer’s can have — how it slowly takes away memories, independence, and connection.
Running 26.2 miles is no small feat, but it pales in comparison to the daily battles faced by those living with dementia and their loved ones. Every step I take is for them — to raise vital funds for research that offers hope, and to help bring us closer to a future where Alzheimer’s is preventable, treatable, and ultimately curable.
I’d be so grateful for your support as I run not just for a finish line, but for a future free from dementia.
Thank you,
Natalie
