SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF THE LOST WORLD.
THE EXPEDITION
We are a Team of 4 explorers embarking on an Expedition to measure a potentially record-breaking waterfall known as King Edward VIII Falls in the remote Jungles of Guyana, South America.
We will journey overland and by river, navigating uncharted jungle and climbing over unscaled mountains to reach King Edward VIII Falls (known as a 'Melu' meaning waterfall in the indigenous Patamona language) and conclusively measure it's height. We will follow in the footsteps of the geologists who first discovered it in 1934, retracing this forgotten expedition.
THE TEAM -
A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED TEAM OF JUNGLE EXPERTS
Brinn Anderson (Danish) - A Jungle Survival Expert who lives and works in the Guyanese Rainforest.
Alex Wain (British) - An experienced Explorer and Expedition Leader having lived and taught in Guyana.
Joe Trevorrow (British) https://www.instagram.com/joe_trevorrow/profilecard/?igsh=cnp5MnhveGx6dmsy- An experienced Explorer and Mountain Leader having completed many previous expeditions.
Oliver Carleton (Australian) - An experienced Climber, Explorer and Adventure Training Instructor.
THE AIM -
SUPPORT INDIGENOUS GUIDES = PROTECT THEIR RAINFOREST.
Our aim is for our expedition to be led by indigenous guides. Not only will this expedition tell their story, but it will also provide training so the indigenous can gain the skills to lead groups of tourists in a new eco-tourism industry we aim to create there. This provides an alternative sustainable income to these people in a world where more and more less sustainable industries are encroaching on this area. This expedition will therefore directly and indirectly benefit these pristine rainforests and enable future expeditions by scientists and tourists who will be able to sustainably and sensitively enjoy and study it's wonders.
OTHER OBJECTIVES
Secondary objectives include exploring the rare and endemic flora and fauna that no doubt exists among the mists of King Edward VIII Falls and scaling a mountain known as 'Raleigh Mountain' as yet unclimbed by outsiders.
WE NEED YOU!

This is set to be a truly incredible expedition, exploring into the heart of the lost world of the Tepuis and it's legacy will ensure that this jungle and all those who call it home and that it belongs to will remain a natural wonder for generations to come.
