Back in 1998 I set out with a group of friends to make a film set on the Ganges river in India. Lead by Charley Case, our fearless adventurer and artist,  we set out to tell his story. We built rafts out of oil drums and timber and sailed off.

For 3 months we crafted scenes from Charley’s story and also captured all the incredible moments we stumbled across whilst living on this extraordinary river of death and reincarnation. The experience was mesmerising and the further we drifted so did the original story we had intended to tell. Eventually we returned home with an incredible treasure trove of material yet we were unsure what our tale was anymore nor did we have any idea of how to tackle the assembly of the film. The rushes were locked away and left untouched for 21years.

Last year I plucked up the courage to revisit all the pictures and sounds and what emerged  was a simple and beautiful story. The script is now written, and we are reaching out to all those who knew about our project back then and also to anyone who is curious to help bring this fabulous film to life right now. We are seeking  £10,000 that will allow the editing, sound mixing, voicing and finishing touches to our film. The edit begins next week on 18th January and we need your participation right now to help us finish this story that began 22years and that is finally ready to see the light of day in all its magnificent glory. 

I truly believe you will be touched by the sensibility of our tale. It is a genuine testament of what our collective mission as a band of friends and creators overcame together in incredibly challenging situations.  And now finally it is ready to be born.
