On May 10, 2023, Richard M. McGrade age 52 of Bellerose Village NY entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mary Ann, and his three children, Grace, 12, Ryan, 10 & James, 8. His parents, Richard & Lucille McGrade, his four siblings & their spouses.

Rich graduated from Queens college and went on to graduate as valedictorian of his class from the NYPD academy. Rich became a NYPD officer and then a federal agent for the past 30 years. During his career he received countless awards for his exemplary service and his investigative prowess. These included Special Agent of the Year (twice) and the US DOT Meritirious Achievement Silver Award.
